BodyZen Spring Break Triathlon Training Camp

Join us for the Fourth Annual BodyZen Training Camp on Friday, February 22 to Sunday, February 24, 2008 at the National Training Center in Clermont, FL! This will be a comprehensive multisport training camp including swim, bike, and run endurance sessions, technique drills, and detailed classroom discussions on various subjects pertaining to training and racing. The camp is limited to twenty-five athletes.

We will have two certified coaches including Florida’s only USAT Elite Level 3 coach on hand throughout the weekend. All abilities are welcome! We will organize sessions for both long-distance and short-course athletes.



Each athlete will receive a CD of camp materials, lunch on Friday and Saturday, and other assorted goodies. Additional testing and coaching services will be available from our staff at a significant discount.

The tentative agenda:

Friday, Feb. 22

  • 7:00-7:15 – Meet and greet
  • 7:30-8:45 – Swim practice
  • 8:45-9:15 – Snacks and discussion
  • 9:30-12:00 – Cycling (longer routes available)
  • 12:00-1:00 – Lunch
  • 12:00-3:00 – Free time
  • 3:30-4:30 – Running workout
  • 4:45-6:45 – Classroom lectures & discussions

Saturday, Feb. 23

  • 7:00-8:15 – Swim practice
  • 8:30-9:30 – Easy running & drills
  • 9:45-11:45 – Cycling
  • 12:00-1:00 – Lunch
  • 12:00-3:30 – Free time
  • 4:00-6:00 – Classroom lectures & discussions

Sunday, Feb 24

  • 6:00-11:00 – Long ride and or Long ride and run combo
  • 12:00-1:00 – Lunch and short seminar
  • 1:00 – Camp ends

About the coaching staff:
BodyZen MultiSport Coaching has been providing coaching, camps, and clinics to endurance athletes since 1998. Coach Erinne Zohlman has a M.S in Exercise Physiology and is a USAT Level II Coach. Coach Lee Zohlman is a USAT Level III Elite coach, NCSF Strength coach, and USAC cycling coach. They coach athletes ranging from the novice to professional level.

Camp fees include use of the National training center facilities, two certified coaches at your beck and call, lunch on Friday and Saturday. Travel, room, and board are not included.

Refund policy:
75% refund if requested in writing before January 10, 50% refund January 11 to February 9, no refund after February 10.

About Clermont:
Nestled in the hills of Central Florida, Clermont is an idyllic location for a weekend training getaway. There are miles of rural roads for cycling, and the National Training Center is an Olympic-caliber facility with a rubberized track, a 50-meter pool, and an excellent strength/nautilus area. Clermont is located about 25 minutes from both Orlando and the Disney area attractions.

Flight/Rental Car Information (not included in camp fees):
Orlando International Airport is approximately a 40-minute drive from Clermont. All major US carriers have a hub here, as do all major car rental companies. We recommend booking through www.expedia.com or www.travelocity.com for the best rates.
We strongly recommend arriving on Thursday night and departing on Sunday afternoon or evening to make the most of this great weekend getaway.
